Introduction:

The purpose of this submodule is to introduce students to the importance of the venue of a staged play and scene, costume, lighting, and sound design which are meant to establish the particular world of the play. Students will meet in small groups and post ideas regarding the contribution of these features to Wedding Band.

Learning Objectives:

By participating in this module, students will be able to:

1. Recognize the contribution of the performance venue and scene, costume, lighting, and sound design to the interpretation of staged performances.

2. Interact with peers on the discussion page of the wiki concerning the use of design in the stage presentation of Wedding Band.
